The 8th President of Zanzibar, H.E. President Hussein Mwinyi and H.E. President Dany Faure were among the 21 winners of the 2022 Pan African ChangeMaker Awards at the 7th Pan African Humanitarian and Investment Summit organized by PALEDEC at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Zanzibar.
This year’s summit, under the patronage of the President of Zanzibar, His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, and a keynote address by former Seychelles President, H.E. Danny Faure, encouraged the transformation of the blue economy by focusing on the use and management of expected resources for maximum benefit.
Previous editions of the event organized by PALEDEC have been held in different cities such as Accra, Dubai, Dar-Salam, Rabat, Abu Dhabi, and Istanbul respectively, with over 7,800 participants including former heads of state, policy makers, and recognized leaders in various sectors of industry, government, business, and humanity from 45 countries in Africa and beyond
