In adherence to the principles of the rights and welfare of the child contained in the declaration, conventions and other instruments of the African Union and in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Advisory Board Council of the Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (PALEDEC) in partnership with International Human Rights Commission held the 3rd Edition of the Child Summit and Award at the British Council Auditorium, Accra, Ghana under the working theme “Strengthening Child Protection Systems in Sub-Saharan Africa”. Keynote Speeches were delivered by Her Excellency, Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor, Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Sania A. Ansari – Chair Person Ansari Group, UAE, Brig. Gen. Dr. Amb. Wallace Williams Consular General and Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Caribbean Island of Antigua and Barbuda Rafal Marcin Wasik – Secretary General of the International Human Rights Commission.
